HALLOUMI BACON BITES

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 x 200g Food Snob Cypriot Halloumi
  • 20 x small sage leaves
  • 10 x rashers of streaky smoked bacon

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Preheat oven on bake to 220 degrees.
  • Cut the halloumi into 20 even sized pieces.
  • Lay bacon flat on chopping board, cut in half cross ways so you have 20 long pieces of bacon.
  • Place a sage leaf in the middle of each bacon rasher.
  • Place a piece of halloumi at the beginning of each rasher.
  • Roll up the halloumi placing each piece on baking tray.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until bacon is golden and crispy.

Best served hot out of the oven.
